Organized by UBM, Hong Kong Jewellery and Gem Fair (30th edition)  is scheduled to take place from 19 to 25, September 2012 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and Asia World Expo Hong Kong (AWE). Initiative, diamonds, gemstones, pearls, equipment & packaging products are exhibited at AWE, while finished jewellery items are exhibited at HKCEC.

Since its launch in 1983, the fair has enjoyed the position of the world''s No. 1 Fine Jewellery event. In 2011, the September Fair boasted with overall visitor attendance up to 16.3 percent. More than 3,450 exhibitors from 46 countries and regions greeted a total of 51,500 trade professionals from 155 countries and regions – the biggest exhibitor and visitor figures in the Fair’s history. Over 50 percent of buyers at the September Fair are from overseas.

Among 17 themed pavilions housed in 2 venues, there are 4 highlights.  Fine Gem Pavilion that showcases  the world''s finest loose diamonds, pearls and gemstones from over 50 esteemed exhibitors globally, Fine Design Pavilion that displays the world’s finest jewellery masterpieces from more than 70 internationally renowned jewellers, Hong Kong Premier Pavilion that exhibits over 40 of Hong Kong’s brightest brands and their latest exquisite collections,  International Premier Pavilion that features jewellery collections launched by over 60 exhibitors in the world.
